Emotional Support Sessions
StartToTalk believes it is important for people to be able to access support. Unlike in counselling and psychotherapy, people do not have to have a fixed time or day each week when they contact us; we have an online diary of available slots where you can book a support session when you feel that you need to. We aim to be a flexible service listening to our service users’ needs. We do however ask that people do not contact us more than once a day and more than three times a week due to the amount of people we support throughout the week. Phone calls can be booked in the online diary. They are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes.

We can offer support to you through email. The maximum number of words for each email is agreed in advance. We respond to one email, once a week.

Art therapy group
Womens’ Support group
Emotional support group
Reading and Writing Group

Please note groups are subject to minimum and maximum numbers.
Coaching and Mentoring
Individual coaching and mentoring is available face to face, over the phone or through text chat. Coaching and mentoring can involve helping someone to develop and achieve their goals either personally or professionally. It can be about building up confidence and life skills to cope every day. We can also provide help to get into work or support for businesses or setting up a business. Please contact us for more information or to book coaching and mentoring.
Face to face counselling is available. Counselling may also be carried out on the phone or through online chat depending upon the difficulties you are facing. Please contact us for more information.
